About Me

My name is Rain Bordeaux,

I’m a nurse, educator, mentor, and coach—but before any of that, I’m someone who once cried in her car after every shift, wondering if I had anything left to give.

For years, I gave everything to the bedside. I believed being a “good nurse” meant staying, pushing through, and self-sacrificing—until burnout became my baseline. But eventually, I realized something had to change. And not just for me—but for every nurse who's been told they have to choose between their license and their peace.

That’s why I created this space.

This blog—and everything I offer—is for the nurse who feels stuck, exhausted, or questioning their career path. It’s for the one scrolling job boards late at night, whispering, “There has to be more than this.”

Here, you’ll find real talk, reflection tools, career pivot guidance, and the gentle permission you may need to reimagine what being a nurse can look like. You’re not alone in your burnout. And you’re not broken. You’re being called to something new—and I’m here to walk beside you as you figure out what that is.

This is a safe space. A soft landing. A starting point.
Welcome home.
